Anderson Power™ Enhances Its Euro Battery Connector Series with Future-Proof Features

Connector housing material upgraded to fit broader applications and new key added for lithium-ion battery distinction.

 

STERLING, Mass. – Anderson Power announces functional enhancements to its Euro Battery (DIN) Connector series, adding upgrades that better fit industrial applications of the future, including an elevated, chemical-resistant housing and visual designations for lithium-ion battery compatibility with a blue key. All materials chosen are RoHS compliant and selected to ensure years of reliability in adverse industrial environments.

 

In line with VDE0623-589 and EN1175:2020, the housing material on the E-series of DIN connectors from Anderson Power has been upgraded to include key features that will improve performance, including:

  • Chemical resistance
  • UL 94 V-0 flammability rating
  • UL temperature rating up to 105° Celsius
  • Higher amperage rating from UL
  • Improved physical appearance

Euro Battery Connector Series Enhancements

Anderson Power announces functional enhancements to its Euro Battery (DIN) Connector series, adding upgrades that better fit industrial applications of the future, including an elevated, chemical-resistant housing and visual designations for lithium-ion battery compatibility with a blue key. All materials chosen are RoHS compliant and selected to ensure years of reliability in adverse industrial environments.

Design and materials offer performance that meets or exceeds all the requirements of EN1175:2020.

 

To provide further ease of use and application enhancements for design engineers, the entire line of DIN connectors (A-series and E-series) will also now include a blue key to visually designate lithium-ion applications.

 

Type 2 DIN connectors from Anderson Power will now also include additional markings to indicate the full breadth of amperage ratings.

The Anderson Power Euro Battery Connector Series include type I 80, 160 and 320A current and type II 120, 250 and 400A current, all in accordance with VDE0623-589 and EN1175:2020. The enhancements to the line make Anderson Power Euro Battery Connectors the ideal choice for a wide range of industrial applications in the Material Handling, Battery Charging, Utility Vehicles, Motive Power, and Sweeper/Scrubbers markets amongst many others.
